Yeah, I just wish this thing was able to do what it was going to do from day 1. I see all of the foundations being laid. I love the LAM playground and teach but it’s becoming useless as more cloudflare sites block the LAM playground or teach mode. It’s starting to make me realise that without this thing operating on a closed system or on device to some small degree we can get more out of the edge technology. i.e. playground and teach mode should be brimming with community lessons but the there’s only a few there. I cannot even get mine to learn a lesson (its on me I probably don’t understand something). However, I’m just looking back over. We had a single quarterly update. None since. I know they’re moving fast but not even the update window is being adhered to and I’m wondering what’s going on. At first I thought it as because they were alpha testing the LAM playground and teach and figured they needed to focus their attention. I’m just not sure what next or when these things are ‘one.’ Rabbit R1 and all Rabbit features appear to be siloed and the voice UI without the responsive prompt screen for buttons or things for us to confirm. I should be able to surf the web with this thing giving me page, artilce summaries but if there’s a pop up box, shouldn’t the voice UI be able to generate me a button to click on my R1 to say yes or no or help the rabbit navigate sites or complete certain tasks that require a human?
More community lessons are definitely coming, there are just some challenges around reworking the UX we need to solve first, as it won’t scale well. The system for QAing community lessons is pretty solid on our end.
I’d love to be able to setup a personalization prompt in the rabbit hole, not just for the UI but more importantly for the content. A few lines to set a personality and localization preferences prompt would already be nice.
Like @DrAndy I have not had much luck getting something useful / working from teachmode. Cloudflare is a common blocker, but also without cloudflare it’s hard. I gave up trying for now, I’ll see how things stand in a couple of weeks.
thank you for replying. If the challenges are hard you have a devout community here willing to give feedback and perhaps more minds replying will help you understand this better if you’re sharing your team’s thoughts? I understand there’s a lot of IP but we just don’t want to lose hope.
