DLAM Could Not Even Open Notepad on Windows 11

DLAM is a joke. The agent wasn’t even able to open Notepad. I patiently waited 15 minutes for it to figure out how to open Notepad and write “Hello world.” Instead, it started minimizing my Chrome browser, opening the Claude app and Task Manager, then maximizing other windows that had nothing to do with the task.

The task was simple: open Notepad and write “Hello world.” DLAM is absolutely useless. I’m not sure what it’s good for, but it looks like it hasn’t been properly tested. This was on Windows 11.

That is strange, I’ve had it do complex tasks including research technical subjects, then write a report, save it to downloads and email it to me. I’ve also had it find software online and install on my MacBook, and even find and fix a sound issue Teams was having by digging deep in Safari settings!
