We as a family do the weekly shopping with pleasure with a simple shopping list app called “we need” [1] or previously “bring!” [2].
The nice thing is that we can use another app called “fooby” [3] to inspire us what we would like to cook based on real-life-recipes, where you simply can click and add the required items based on the amount of people using that recipe to the above shopping list.
Then in the shop [4] we use our shopping cart & passabene electronic scanner and buy & pack everything we need in a few moments and pay at the self-check-out counter.
The overall-process is very efficient and safes a lot of time.
Then when we use a product with a barcode often, we scan the code with Yuka [5] to see if the product is safe to consume or if it has a lot of bad ingredients.
I think the only way rabbit can support us at the moment is adding more apps to the rabbit hole, which are used in a specific region. That brings us back to priorities and that’s where my post ends for today.
All the things, I do before the cooking starts:

For actual cooking, I only use it for the following things:
- Convert Fahrenheit temp. to Celsius
- Convert Inches into Centimeters
- need to experiment a little…
