Hey

Ask for Celsius in the prompt, ie âCan you tell me the weather in Celsiusâ and that should work.
Weâll get this added either as a setting or as long term memory preference.
Yes yes this is working, itâs just s bit odd to mention it every time. Hope with long-term memory this will be fixed.
Yes, it would be nice to verbally add preferences like the units such as meters and centigrade. Maybe like âalways answer in metric unitsâ.
Of course one should be verbally ask rabbit to list itâs preferences.
On a similar note, 24h clock format would be nice tooâŚ
Would make sense to set it once and then let it apply to everything. Or you could also change per location eg in Europe where we work with Celcius it makes sense to tell the weather in the local value.
Celsius should be standard and ask for fahrenheit instead.
This worked great. just prompted to give the weather in Celsius and itâs been doing it. thank you.
I have to ask for the temperature in the city that a UEFA match is in Celsius. If i donât mention Celsius it gives Fahrenheit. I then just say Celsius and r1 will correct itself. The r1 should know that i am in Canada where metric has been in use for 55+ years. Wake up America.
I have been trying the longer term prompt âCan you only tell me temperature in celcius and distances in the metric systemâ and it does work for sometime, but eventually disappears.
It DEFINTIELY disappears when you do a 5xptt push.
While I understand everyoneâs annoyance that generally speaking celcius is the most commonly used system - the device is designed in America and likely has majority American consumers (at the moment), it shouldnât be surprising that its using imperial and fahrenheit?
Perhaps this will work for you too?
In settings you can pick the 24h clock format.
Fahrenheit, why is this stone age metric still used and especially in a modern tool like the r1?
Fix this issue and allow Celsius. And everytime I ask the r1 to change it to Celcius, it says something âOk we changed timezone to defaultâ. What does time have to do with temperature?
Weather in Celsius works, but it is more inconvenient, and it only works one in six times. Can it be somehow predefined?
it would be good as as extra function in settings like time - simply select metric or imperial
It could be solved by using local settings, but those must be customized. Imagine if you have your time zone set automatically, and your local settings change from C to F, or the currency changes, or anything else. Or someone is a programmer and uses a dot instead of a coma enforced by regional settings.
This one has me driven crazy. It repeatedly gives me weather in F, and when I remind it that it assured me it would remember to provide in Celsius, the LLM apologises profusely and re-asserts that it will remember from now on. Then it forgets the next day and weâre back to square one. So whatever context is being set, it is being lost. I would be useful to be able to add a âmemoryâ pre-prompt as per ChatGPT.

Hi Andy,
Default measurement & weather units
Your default measurement and weather units are currently linked to your chosen language/region. E.g., if your region is set to English (United States) temperature will show in Fahrenheit, but if set to English (United Kingdom) temperature will show in Celsius.
For Celsius and Metric, select English (Australia).
For Celsius and Imperial, select English (UK).
Note: UK uses both imperial and metric measurements. The younger generation born after 1970 would use metric or both. Those born in the 80s and later would use metric.
For Fahrenheit and Imperial, select English (USA).
PS: Donât forget to perform a Memory refresh after changing the language/region setting (quickly press the [ptt]-button 5 times).
Note about the default measurement units: The current way that temperature and measurement units have been implemented was not one of their best design decisions. The rabbit team realizes that and is now aligned with a better way to implement this.
