I dont know specifics but this weeks ota is supposed to be pretty big, with 10 or so features ---

I think this week’s update is a great one but it definitely doesn’t have 10 new features lol. I think at one point that was mentioned as being across the next two updates but at this point I’d say more like 3 updates since some stuff is taking a little longer. But there’s definitely something really cool in this week’s OTA 🕶 And some other things but one thing in particular ---

I do wish we had more of a heads up/patch notes ahead of time aside from Jesse’s random discord mentions here and there. I know Simon has indicated caution when talking about what is coming in an OTA/hole update, but man it would be nice not to be left wondering right up until it drops 😭 ---

I would like more heads up if they weren’t consistent, weekly updates. As it is, I know roughly when to expect an update, and the remaining weekdays/weekend gives me time to experiment with the update. By the time I explore most of its features the next one is right around the corner. If they were monthly or only a couple large updates a year, more transparency would be great but they’re so frequent it feels like a nothing-burger of an issue. ---

I think the issue is there is some amount of uncertainty right up to the day of delivery it all depending on QA testing and what things get finished. ---

So one thing I can tell you for now is that the cadence should always be expected for Thursday, for both cloud updates and OTA on alternating weeks. There may be rare occasions where something needs to be pushed on a different day, but the vast majority of the time you should expect to see release notes on Thursday at the same time the updates are pushed. ---
