# SIM card for the r1 and keep the number?

Hello,  
I bought a sim for my rabbit, but I suddenly had a thought - if I’m paying monthly for data + calls - how can I still use the calls part?

Can anyone think of a way where at very least I can make use of the mobile number the sim has? - like using the number with computer software / another program?

I have similar Sim plan. As the data is only thing I use the calls and txt I just forget about. I mean the sim coat £5 per month for 5gb and unlimited text and calls. But to get a data Sim with similar GB would cost more. Plus I don’t use that much nor does the r1. The contract can be cancelled anytime and it’s a month to month rolling contract. For the above money i am not bothered about the other bits.  
But if you are you could always take the sim.out when your not using the r1 and use it in a phone.

Hi @clairenicholson - Ask your provider about a MultiDevice Option, I had no clue about it until today, when I was in the store of my Provider and asking about this “feature”.

You can have the same number, but you can also have multiple physical SIMs for other devices…
