# R1 can not pair with the computer, when using DLAM

since one of the updates, i have not been able to connect my R1 to my computer to use the DLAM. i have tried restarting the devices. i have changed cables. and with one cable, i do get the R1 recognized but then when i click to pair it. the notification disappears and it is still showing as disconnected. any suggestions?

I also had this issue, i raised it on here and via discord channel, but it never got resolved the only way to fix it i found was to create a new account. altthough you will be starting from scratch with memories etc. You will need to unpair and repair once new account is set up. Hope this helps

Thank you so much for the suggestion. i did the reset and again same thing. my rabbit was not being recognized by my windows computer. Then i tried connecting it to my apple laptop. and it worked perfectly as expected. so my windows computer is the culprit. when i get some time, i will create a new profile on my computer and test it again in the new profile with clean settings. have a great day
