# Preplexity "Reasoning with R1" ......

I’m now seeing this “Reasoning with R1” message when Perplexity is constructing it’s answers even though I just have “Pro Search” and not selecting “Reasoning with R1”. Does this mean that Perplexity is using Deepseek regardless of this setting ?
