If Elon developed the r1 with his engineers?

If Elon tasked his developers to optimize the r1, what would they suggest and how quickly would they take to achieve it? Asking for a r1 friend ;>)

well, i think r1 is a bit slow with giving the LAM mode, did u saw the GPT assistant that can actually perform tasks ? such as send am email, send a whats app msg , check an email, calendars etc … more than 6000 actions and apps that u can connect to create YOUR OWN AI , as is suiting for YOURSELF.

game changer , i just got to start test it …

Focus on Core Functionality and Speed:

  • Prioritize core functions: Musk is known for his “first principles” approach. His team would likely focus on optimizing core functionalities like voice recognition, natural language processing (NLP), and task completion speed. This could involve streamlining algorithms and leveraging hardware acceleration to reduce latency. (Timeline: 3-6 months)
  • Emphasis on User Interface (UI) Simplicity: Musk often criticizes overly complex interfaces. His team might simplify the Rabbithole interface, prioritizing ease of use and intuitive navigation. (Timeline: 1-3 months)
  • Open-source approach: Musk has expressed interest in open-source software. He might push for limited open-sourcing of R1’s core functionalities to encourage developer contributions and accelerate innovation. (Timeline: Varies depending on the scope of open-sourcing)

Advanced Features with a Catch:

  • Neuralink Integration (Speculative): If Neuralink technology is sufficiently advanced, Musk might explore integrating it with R1 for a more direct brain-computer interface. However, this is highly speculative with significant ethical and technical hurdles. (Timeline: Potentially years away, if ever feasible)
  • Focus on Specific Use Cases: Musk’s focus is often on solving specific problems. He might prioritize features relevant to his ventures (e.g., Tesla integration, SpaceX communication tools). This could limit general-purpose appeal. (Timeline: Varies depending on the specific use case)

Timeline Considerations:

  • Leveraging Existing Resources: The speed of development would depend on the existing team size, infrastructure, and access to advanced hardware (e.g., custom AI chips). Existing R1 development might provide a strong foundation.
  • Musk’s Management Style: Musk is known for his aggressive deadlines and demanding work culture. This could accelerate progress but might lead to burnout and quality issues.

Overall, optimizing R1 under Elon Musk would likely prioritize core functionality, speed, and simplicity. Advanced features might be more specialized and take longer to develop.

He would lay me off. Again :joy:

(I was at Twitter when that whole thing went down for anyone unaware!)
